About Summerfield
Kelly Summerfield, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife and compassionate member of the obstetrics and gynecology team at Dr. Chadi Haddad in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
Kelly discovered her passion for nursing while studying at Saginaw Valley State University in University Center, Michigan. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, she built her expertise in women’s health as a registered nurse in obstetrics for 13 years.
She has become well-versed in low- and high-risk obstetrics. Her specialties include working with mothers and babies to facilitate postpartum and newborn care. To further her obstetrics training, Kelly attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she completed her master’s degree in nurse midwifery.
Kelly received board certification from the American College of Nurse Midwives in 2009, and joined the Dr. Chadi Haddad team in 2011. In addition to her nurse midwifery practice, Kelly also sees patients for well-woman health and family planning care.
